Description

The Management process component is concerned with the process of managing a software project. The process elements defined in this process component are recommended for any sized project, and regardless of formality requirements. The component describes what we see the core of the management process in a RUP driven project, including :

  • Strategic elements like defining a business case for the project
  • Identifying and managing risks
  • Planning the project in an iterative manner
  • Tailoring the project's development process

Management is an important concern in any software engineering effort, thus we recommend to make this component part of your RUP configuration.

Dependencies
